freestyle music was the hottest thing in new york back in the early 80s,,it made its way into most Latin clubs at the time,,,bringing something different away from hip hop...by the mid 90s its started losing its steam on the radio,,and hip hop took its rightful place soon after..even though freestyle is not blowing up the airwaves like it did back in the day,,it is still considered a very respectable style of music that dwells in our hearts to this day..the popularity of (Latin hip hop)another well known name for it,,will live 4 ever,,,cuz the memories left behind never die...i was lucky enough to do shows with most of the freestylers that were so popular then,,and still are now....if ur in Miami ,,new york,,and even California,,I'm sure u can find a club that will take u back to a time that will last 4 ever ...
