james marshal hendrix was indeed the man,,he was well ahead of his time..i never really felt that he was playing in the same time zone i was in,,lol,,,he was out there with the stars i felt...his guitar playing was wild and crazy,,but at the same time,,very controlled and precise..he was known for setting his guitar on fire and breaking them afterwards,,i read where jimi was never really happy with his guitar playing,,,much emotion running through him,,one has to imagine what rolls around in the head of a true genious,,cuz thats what i think he was,,thats what i think he is..jimi lives on 4 ever...his music was 4 everybody,,but may the cherokee indian that ran through his veins infect u,,,like it infected me.....rock on jimi.... enjoy the songs...
