I'm proud to be puertorican, and one crazy night,,myself  and my former zro hour com padre was on the phone chatting about future shows to do.....well it had occurred to me that the puertorican parade was coming soon to the city,,,,and it would be great to do a puertorican pride show,,lol,,,all i heard after that was a dial tone,,why u wonder,,hahahahahaha,,,,cuz he stayed up half the night picking songs for it.......I'm proud to say that this is truly without a doubt in my mind one of the best shows we have ever done.....i was super animated, and as my former partner stated a few years back,,,hahahahaha,,i spazzzzzzzed out on it..so please click on the links and enjoy...Que viva puerto ricooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

freestyle music was the hottest thing  in new york back in the early 80s,,it made its way into most Latin clubs at the time,,,bringing something different away from hip hop...by the mid 90s its started losing its steam on the radio,,and hip hop took its rightful place soon after..even though freestyle is not blowing up the airwaves like it did back in the day,,it is still considered a very respectable style of music that dwells in our hearts to this day..the popularity of (Latin hip hop)another well known name for it,,will live 4 ever,,,cuz the memories left behind never die...i was lucky enough to do shows with most of the freestylers that were so popular then,,and still are now....if ur in Miami ,,new york,,and even California,,I'm sure u can find a club that will take u back to a time that will last 4 ever ...

i love u Janis,,,in so many freaking ways...the 1st time i heard Ur voice i was a little brat giving my mom the hardest of times....u lift me,,,u inspire me,,u rocked me and still do.....from port Arthur Texas,,,she was always considered an outcast,,,not really fitting in to any clicks in school,,,so so different,,but she is a role model to any artist that struggles with acceptance,,,but their will never be that,,know that u will now and 4 ever stand alone in Ur uniqueness,,but that's not a bad thing,,it is something to be celebrated.....hats off to all the artist who survive,,not in the world,but in Ur mind.....push 4 ward and don't stop,,sit back and let Janis prove to u that being different should be received not pushed away....
